If art and music isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other opportunities to get involved in. This includes a panel talk, to which the Mayor of Milan and German institutions have been invited. Lastly, there will be an anti-mafia talk alongside an abundance of Italian street food and temporary shops to indulge in.

This is an amazing opportunity for cultural contamination between between the two major European cities. Although Berlin and Milan are geographically close, they are socially and culturally a million miles away. The aim of the event is to bridge that cultural gap and grow together whilst dancing and celebrating the future.
The organizers, Tempio Del Futuro Perduto, created a space in 2018 in order to meet the collective need for safe spaces within the community. They provide tools for cultural production and creative work for free and independently.
Their centre is based in a complex of historic abandoned buildings in Milan and over the years, these buildings have been transformed into work spaces, exhibitions, studios and so on. This has been achieved thanks to the efforts of thousands of artists worldwide that work without commercial or public fundraising. Including organising daily activities for the community, Tempio also participate in humanitarian projects and actively fight for human rights.

Tempio Festival will be based in Alte Münze in Mitte, a cultural district of over 10,000 square metres in the centre of the German capital. Situated in one of Berlin’s oldest neighborhoods. The site represents a forward-looking interpretation of the city’s historical spaces. The site stretches out across the bank of the river Spree and houses artists and different cultural events. This area is known for hosting some of the most important initiatives in the city and acts as the perfect location for the three day event.
This cultural explosion is set to begin on Friday 30th August until the evening of Sunday September 1st.
