Discover RARE Berlin: A New Store for Creative and Sustainable Fashion

Spread the love

Join Us for the Grand Opening of RARE Berlin!

This unique Berlin space is more than a store—it’s a celebration of shared values in sustainability, upcycling, and independent fashion. The co-management approach fosters unity and allows each designer to engage personally with customers, offering a unique retail experience.

Join us for an evening of live music and Sekt as we celebrate the launch of this collaborative shop that brings together four like-minded designers: Tata Christiane,
Therapy Berlin, Fade Out Label, and Elise Rolot.

Tata Christiane

Tata Christiane, founded by Julie Bourgeois and Gabriel Santini, is a Berlin-based label
known for its avant-garde, whimsical designs. Tata Christiane blends street costume with
deconstructed couture, creating unique pieces that emphasize individuality, color, and
sustainability. The brand uses upcycled and vintage fabrics, offering both unique pieces
and biannual collections that celebrate creativity and the fusion of art and fashion.

Therapy Recycle and Exorcise

Therapy Berlin is an upcycling fashion brand founded by sisters Angie and Poli Aguirre. It
focuses on creating unique, sustainable clothing and accessories using 90% second-hand
or discarded materials. The brand emphasizes inclusivity, body positivity, and gender
fluidity, rejecting mainstream beauty standards and promoting a more ethical and human
approach to fashion. With roots in Berlin and Cordoba, Argentina, Therapy Berlin’s
manifesto and ethos revolve around conscious consumption and responsible fashion
practices.

Fade Out Label

Fade Out Label, founded by Andrea Bonfini, specializes in unique, unisex clothing made
from deconstructed vintage materials. The brand embraces a “dump-to-hanger” ethos,
emphasizing sustainability and recycling. Fade Out Label rejects conventional fashion
timelines, creating timeless, comfortable, and original pieces.

Elise Rolot

Elise Rolot, a fashion designer from Belgium, founded her upcycling clothing label in Berlin
in 2014. She transforms second-hand textiles like duvet covers and curtains into unique
garments, prioritizing sustainability and craftsmanship. Elise sources materials from local
flea markets and second-hand shops, crafting each item with meticulous care and
attention to detail.
