PRELUDE photography editorial about “Body Memory” by Silvia Amicarelli and modelled Michele Garofalo

Spread the love

Prelude photography editorial shot by Silvia Amicarelli.

Prelude

Prelude photography editorial is the sequel of “About Body Memory” but also the hint of its continuation. It’s a photographic project about the body movement and the shapes it takes. This time isn’t the eclectic styling that follows the movements but the lights and shadows that draw the contours. The place is also important: in the historic center close to the sea, where the eternity of time has fixed the stones of city in perpetual immobility and where the sea dances in the horizontal plane of the earth’s surface. There Michele dances, raises movement to the sky and shapes the sunlight into appearances that our soul and mind devour. The result is a concentrate of expressiveness and energy.

Bio of the photographer: Silvia Amicarelli

Born in Trani on April 1, 1991, she immediately showed her passion for visual art with her love for drawing and the intention to dedicate herself to it in the future. Over the years she had to give up this purpose to follow the desires of a more economically stable future by dedicating herself to technical studies that she never loved.
After obtaining her diploma, a little with difficulty following a car accident that led her to have health problems, she decided to get closer to the world of visual art first with oil painting and then with photography. Photography, which had accompanied her since childhood thanks to her father and his passion. Over the years she has become a professional photographer thanks to numerous commercial works (fashion and food sector) without neglecting to carry on her personal and editorial projects. In 2020 she created the creative agency Shake Studio dedicating herself to the production of content for the commercial and editorial sector and in 2023 she joined the English artists’ collective Thursday’s Child Global.
