We’re thrilled to share the premiere of E-Bony’s track “Social Disaster” from the new compilation, “Mutation Onset.” Released by Hybrid Moment, this collection features tracks from both Ukrainian and international producers, all aimed at raising funds for the Musicians Defend Ukraine Foundation.
Kyiv’s Hybrid Moment, a vibrant party series and community, draws inspiration from the darker shades of music, featuring slow and heavy beats. The collective primarily promotes genres such as dark disco, EBM, indie dance, Italo, and new beat, while remaining open to a diverse range of musical styles.
In celebration of their first anniversary, Hybrid Moment is excited to announce the launch of a charity compilation featuring artists from both Ukraine and around the world. The compilation aims to support musicians who have transitioned from their musical pursuits to serve in the army as defenders of their country. This initiative is in collaboration with the charitable fund Musicians Defend Ukraine.
The compilation includes an impressive roster of artists: A-Tweed, Igor Dieiev ID_UA, dj_2button & Ludviq, Lvcerate, E-bony, Symonenko, Katia Stieber, Hungry Boys, Raido, Vestibular Glow, Motoblok, Clasps, and Batacat.
Highlighting the compilation is E-bony, the stage name of Moroccan DJ and producer Naor Dayan. Known for his residency with the international queer brand PAG, E-bony began his music production journey in 2018, debuting his first album under the renowned Wrong Era/Slow Motion label. Since then, he has established a solid presence in the electronic music scene, releasing tracks on labels like Dame-Music, Italo Moderni, and more.
E-bony’s musical style artfully combines elements of Techno, Electro, and Italo, navigating through an intriguing blend of darkness, light, and funky grooves that captivate listeners along the way.
