Steve Ash, previously known as “Hotdog,” was part of the early 2000s lineup of the iconic UK electronica group The Black Dog [Warp Records], contributing to albums like Unsavoury Products and Genetically Modified. He’s also remixed an eclectic array of artists, from A Guy Called Gerald to Elbow and Hanson. Now, under the CommsBreakdown alias, he delves into new sonic territories, creating downtempo electronica, ambient textures, and post-rock beats.
