How did you start your collaboration?
Flavia: Everything began with a spontaneous jam session. One day, we randomly bumped into each other while walking in Berlin. It was our first time meeting in person, and after a brief chat with a mutual friend, suggesting a studio session felt natural. Later on, she reached out, and we set a date. I brought my equipment to her place, and after coffee and a chat, we started jamming. It flowed so easily and was so much fun that we just wanted to keep going!
Dinamite: It all happened very spontaneously. We knew each other through the scene and mutual friends. After a chance meeting on the street, we casually suggested jamming and making some beats together. However, nearly a year passed before we finally set a day to meet. I have such fond memories of that day. It was a beautiful connection on every level—filled with fun, creativity, and incredible pro
What inspired you to collaborate?
Flavia: I was in a particularly creative phase and eager to explore collaboration. Although we hadn’t met personally before, I resonated with Anita’s taste and vibe. I had an intuitive sense that we could be a good match. As I got to know her better, it became clear just how much we shared—not only in our personal journeys within the industry but also in our musical paths and outlook on life. Spending time together felt comforting and natural. A deep level of understanding, combined with the expressive moment we were both experiencing, allowed us to easily channel that energy into our workflow.
Dinamite: As I mentioned before, it wasn’t planned at all.We just met to see what would happen. When you collaborate or jam with another artist for the first time, you never know how it’s going to flow. In this case, we were on the same wavelength, and working together felt really easy. Everything seemed to click and sync without much extra effort. Plus, Flavia is an incredibly talented artist and an amazing woman, so finding inspiration was easy and organic for me.
How did you share the creative process for your release?
Flavia: The creative process was very collaborative and began to take shape with “Uróboros,” which is basically the mother track. Our first jam session was dynamic and instinctive, laying the foundation for the EP. We shaped each track by processing and recombining various sound elements from that session, infusing them with a fresh touch that reflected our personal and creative experiences at each given moment. For instance, “Stato Liminare” started as an ambient, spacey track and took a completely different turn, which inspired us to incorporate our voices as well.
Dinamite: We worked closely together throughout the entire process. We met several times to create the tracks, allowing the EP’s concept to develop organically. Flavia worked with her Novation Peak synth, while I worked with my Analog Rytm. Most of our time was spent jamming, along with focusing on post-production.
Have you ever encountered difficulties or compromises while working together?”
Flavia: “Not really; there was a lot of respect and room for each other’s views. We worked side by side on everything—from production to post-production—maintaining a dynamic workflow that balanced intense focus with relaxed conversations and fun moments. This approach enriched the process and infused our work with shared experiences and intentions. The fact that neither of us had any expectations—just joy in the creative process—helped us find comfortable compromises at every step.
Dinamite: Not really. Besides, there were times when we couldn’t meet due to scheduling issues or because we were in different locations…
Can we expect a continuation of your collaboration in the future?”
“Definitely! This EP has already opened up new dimensions and ideas. Since we finalized the tracks in February, our relationship has strengthened, and we’ve both gone through similar life phases and personal musical evolutions, which will bring a fresh touch to our next project. I’m personally excited to see what we can create together next!”
Dinamite: Definitely.
