Lueder Explores Privacy with “The Shell” Collection at Berlin FW25

Designer Marie Lueder unveiled her Fall/Winter 2025 collection titled ‘The Shell’ on day 3 of Berlin Fashion Week.

Lueder’s latest collection delved into themes of privacy, exposure, and surveillance. It presented a neo-romantic perspective that juxtaposed historical aesthetics with the raw energy of underground subcultures.

This season, the brand moved away from its signature armor and knight-inspired designs. Lueder’s ‘The Shell’ collection showcased bold elements of faux fur which were created in collaboration with Italian fabric maker Pointex from wood pulp. These were featured as trims on hoods and hats, as bags, and as full-length coats.

The collection included statement tops boldly featured the Lueder logo with striking phrases like “Men are so BACK,” thus injecting humor and extroversion into the lineup.

Additionally, the collection showcased hooded sweaters, double-zip jackets with rib-knit inserts, and loose-fit jeans and sweatpants with sculpted seams. Designers elevated the pieces with rich textures, incorporating velvet, bold prints, and innovative shapes. At the same time, the immersive runway design captivated the audience.

Custom carpets displayed Lueder community portraits, while CGI curtains, chandeliers, and live-operated drones created a dynamic, cinematic atmosphere.

Ultimately, Lueder’s The Shell collection became a standout highlight of Berlin Fashion Week. It seamlessly merged fashion, social commentary, and avant-garde storytelling. By blending provocative design elements with a strong narrative, the collection captured the attention of both industry insiders and attendees alike.

The brand continues shaping cultural discourse and strengthening its influence in the fashion industry by consistently pushing creative boundaries. Lueder’s ability to combine social awareness with high fashion ensures its place at the forefront of innovation, setting trends and inspiring thought-provoking conversations.
