PALMWINE IceCREAM Debuts “LIFE MOODBOARD” at Berlin Fashion Week 2025

PALMWINE IceCREAM (PWIC) debuted its AW25/26 Collection “LIFE MOODBOARD” at Berlin Fashion Week 2025.

As one of the winners of “Berlin Contemporary” and the first African-based brand to hit the Berlin runway, PWIC didn’t just showcase a collection—it told a story.

A Personal Journey Through Fashion

“LIFE MOODBOARD” isn’t just about clothes. It’s about evolution, memories, and everything that shapes who we are.

PALMWINE IceCREAM’s designer and creative director Kusi Kubi takes us on a personal journey, reflecting on the transition from being an intern to becoming an established creative force. Last season, he paid tribute to his mother. This time, it’s a deeper dive into time, growth, and transformation.

The collection feels like a scrapbook of emotions and milestones, shown in every fabric choice, silhouette, and color.

How do we measure time? How do we honor it? These questions are at the core of “LIFE MOODBOARD”.

The collection plays with past, present, and future, using fabric, form, and feeling to tell a story. Each piece feels like a conversation between nostalgia and innovation, tradition and modernity.

PWIC is all about the 3 R’s of sustainable fashion- Reduce, Reuse, RECONSTRUCT.

This season, they’ve stayed true to their spirit by working with upcycled leather, wood, raffia, calabash, and dead-stock fabrics.

The collection is refined yet raw, polished yet deeply personal. Think structured silhouettes balanced with flowing forms—symbolizing the growth and change that define Kubi’s journey.

With deep Ghanaian roots, Kubi’s designs naturally reflect the textures, colors, and patterns of West African craftsmanship.

The earthy greens, deep burgundy reds, rich browns, and bold blacks feel grounding and powerful. Each garment tells a story, merging culture with contemporary design in a way that feels both deeply personal and universally relatable.

A Milestone for African Fashion

Beyond the clothes, this moment is huge. PALMWINE IceCREAM being the first African-based brand on the Berlin runway is a win for representation and diversity in fashion.

Kusi Kubi isn’t just designing—he’s making a statement. “LIFE MOODBOARD” is about honoring the past while shaping the future, proving that fashion isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about meaning, connection, and change.

With this collection, PALMWINE IceCREAM isn’t just redefining fashion—it’s shaping the conversation around it. And honestly? We’re here for it.
