Berlin’s nightlife just got a new ritual. Memory Dance, curated by the Slow Motion crew, is a weekly event exploring the weirder corners of dance music. It’s not your average club night.

Each Saturday, Marmorbar becomes a space for sonic discovery. Expect psychedelic disco, obscure Italo, protohouse, Balearic cuts, and cinematic gems you didn’t know you needed. Fast BPMs and big drops are left at the door. Instead, it’s all about slow-burning rhythms, strange textures, and grooves that feel timeless.

There are no flashy headliners. No names to chase. Rather, it’s just sound selectors with taste and intention. Each night unfolds organically, shaped by mood rather than genre. With Slow Motion behind the decks, you’re guaranteed a journey — unexpected, immersive, and deeply danceable.

Marmorbar itself adds to the magic. Tucked inside a historic venue that once housed Chalet Club and Heinz Minki, it carries the spirit of Berlin’s underground legacy.

Chalet was known for its lush riverside garden, fairy lights, and all-night sets — a place where summer nights turned into mornings without warning. Heinz Minki brought a more intimate, arty flair, mixing live performances and DJ sets in an eclectic space.
Today, Marmorbar inherits that same energy, blending charm and chaos with a more laid-back, living room feel. And yes, the garden is still there — now a hidden gem for pre-dance hangs or a breath of air between sets.

This night is for the open-minded. For those who dance to tracks they’ve never heard, and immediately love. It’s dancefloor alchemy at its best.
