Step into the future with photographer Marilù Venditti, who depicts a life of sci – fi monotony in her work “Chronicles of a Futuristic World”.
Italian photographer and video-maker Marilù Venditti, was born in 1993 into a family of creatives. Her mother, an avid painter and her father, a poet. Growing up, her parents encouraged her to explore and refine her own artistic abilities and cultivate her aesthetic taste. Driven by strong ambition, she moved to the city of Italian fashion – Milan – in search of new artistic horizons. Here, Vendetti studied new art technologies followed by various Master’s Degrees in photography, video and post production.
Shortly thereafter, collaborations with companies, brands, and magazines were born. Today she is an artist working in the fashion industry, making space for herself with a new futuristic style.
This particular project of hers is set in a futuristic metropolis. The narrative follows the daily mundane routine of two people taking the subway on their way to work. The addition of the toy dinosaur acts as a robotic pet, projecting the day’s news and notices to it’s viewer.
Although this editorial story is merely a concept for now, it has potential to predict our not so distant future lives.
