The third and final release of the highly sought-after Above The Clouds and ASICS GT-2160™ collaboration is being released in two new color variants, black and white.
Unlike the vibrant colors of the earlier versions, which were inspired by Japanese nature and urban landscapes, the final version focuses instead on minimalist color palettes with a greater emphasis on the use of experimental materials integrated into the shoe’s design.
Like its predecessors, the third version will also retain the transparent upper, contrasted by colored Tiger Stripes, color-coordinated mesh inserts, and matching laces.
The Above The Clouds X ASICS GT-2160™ sneaker stays true to the iconic design language of the classic shoe, retaining its traditional, wavy forefoot shape and GEL technology for advanced underfoot cushioning.
The final collaboration of the Above The Clouds X ASICS GT-2160™ sneaker will be released exclusively at Above The Clouds on Friday, August 23.
They will be available worldwide from August 30 on ASICS.com and at selected retailers such as UP THERE, LACED, USG Store, Highs And Lows, Finesse, Incu, and JD Sports
