Cologne’s legendary DIE HALLE Tor 2 transformed into an epicenter of electronic music on October 12, 2024, as Red Bull’s inaugural Back2Beyond event took the nightlife scene by storm. With an innovative concept that promised a night of musical fusion, the evening delivered on every front including a massive sound system from each side.
The lineup boasted four exciting names in electronic music: Courtesy, Gerd Janson, Job Jobse, and VTSS. Each artist brought their unique vibes, contributing their sound to the audience from start to finish. The format of back-to-back sets created an interesting atmosphere and battle for the artists, but the battle was about who will synchronise the best with each other & which b2b will be the best match.
Courtesy and Gerd Janson took the stage as the night kicked off, setting the tone with a hypnotic blend of deep beats and melodies. Their synergy was connected, and the crowd quickly found themselves lost in the rhythm creating the vibrant warm up.
The experience was elevated further as the transition into Job Jobse’s set with Gerd Janson, who infused the energy that had everyone moving.
The dynamic flow continued as Job Jobse paired with VTSS, bringing a darker, more intense vibe that added layers of depth to the night. VTSS, known for her electrifying presence and hard-hitting tracks, delivered a performance that was nothing short of spectacular. The energy in the room was electric, with the audience fully immersed in the journey.
Finally, the night came full circle as VTSS and Courtesy returned to the decks for a closing set that encapsulated the entire experience. The circular format not only created a unique musical narrative but also fostered a sense of community among the audience, who danced and celebrated together, united by the beats till the early morning.
DIE HALLE Tor 2 provided an ideal backdrop for this immersive experience, with its industrial charm complementing the pulsating light show and vibrant atmosphere.
