GmbH, The Berlin-based fashion label helmed by Benjamin Huseby and Serhat Isik, presented their Fall/Winter 2025 collection, ‘From Another Reality‘, on day 3 of Berlin Fashion Week 2025.

The collection takes its name from a poem by Norwegian modernist Gunvor Hofmo, published in 1947. Hofmo’s introspective poetry, shaped by personal grief and the shadows of war, explores themes of loss, isolation, and existential despair—sentiments that resonate deeply within GmbH’s latest designs.
This season, GmbH turned inward, reflecting on personal narratives and past designs to navigate the current global climate.

The collection revisits some of their most iconic silhouettes as a way to find solace in the past, evoking a time “when the world might have seemed less threatening.”
The show featured a series of noir-inspired ensembles with lean tailoring, dramatic draping, and textured layering.
White gazar clouds encircled the neck, while faux fur stoles draped elegantly over shoulders, bringing a melancholic glamour. Robust chunky ankle boots with pronounced square toes grounded the collection in GmbH’s signature futuristic edge.

Set in a former multistory car park, the industrial backdrop reinforced the collection’s introspective and dystopian feel, a nod to both Hofmo’s poetic despair and GmbH’s own ongoing political consciousness.
The interplay of soft fabrics against rigid tailoring captured the tension between vulnerability and strength—an homage to the emotional complexity of Hofmo’s work.

GmbH’s show stood out as a highlight of Berlin Fashion Week. It seamlessly blended fashion, literature, and cultural memory.

With this collection, the brand once again proves its ability to channel personal and collective histories into deeply evocative designs.
